International Energy Agency @Politecnico di Torino: Focus on Energy Technology Perspective 2016
The report “Energy Technology Perspectives 2016” developed by the International Energy Agency, named “Towards Sustainable Urban Energy Systems”, focuses and deals with one of the current world topics, the sustainable growth of cities, which has to be achieved through a careful planning of the implementation of the efficient energy technologies and systems actions on urban scale.
In relation to the strong growth of population in cities at a global level, ambitious actions aimed at reducing energy demand at a urban scale will sure represent a fundamental tool in order to achieve the COP21 climate change mitigation objectives underwritten in Paris.
